Apple no longer renders support to some of its older models, these models no longer get security updates from Apple making them vulnerable to cyber-criminals.
Unsupported devices as you know are very dangerous for consumers as there’s no protection from hackers.

Among those models no longer supported is the iPhone 6, which was made available for sales in 2015. Every iPhone model older than the 6 is now obsolete in terms of software updates, which means the iPhone 5C, 5S, 5, 4S, 4, 3GS, 3G and, the original 2007 iPhone.
