THE BEST SMARTPHONES OF 2023: It is no doubt that mobile phones are one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century. New phones are being manufactured every year with not less than twenty releases per year.
The importance of mobile phones cannot be fully quantified. Their emergence has brought great change to humanity in diverse ways. From life-saving roles to fun moments and being current with the outside world, the best phone for you is out there, depending on what you value most – camera, battery life, design, specs, price, and more to boot come into play. The phones mentioned here are perfect for university students as they will also enhance their studies
In this post, we’ve listed the best smartphones of 2023. Kindly read till the end.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S22 ULTRA.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the ultimate Android phone for power users. It delivers a built-in S Pen just like a Galaxy Note, and you get 70% less latency for smoother performance. The 6.8-inch display is simply the best that is being tested, offering class-leading brightness and colour saturation, making this panel easy to read outdoors in direct sunlight and fantastic for watching shows and movies.
The other big reason to buy the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the camera improvements. There’s a larger main 108MP sensor that lets in more light, which means brighter pictures without having to use Night mode. And when you engage in Night mode, you’ll get even better pics in some scenarios than other phones. This phone is undoubtedly one of the smartphones of 2023
ONE PLUS 10 PRO.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is a powerful Android handset with a gorgeous design, a beautiful display, and the best cameras we’ve ever seen on a OnePlus device.
The Chinese phone maker has come a long way in the last year or two with photography power that can sometimes keep up with the likes of the Pixel 6 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
With stellar battery life and peak performance, the OnePlus 10 Pro handles any task you could want. Thanks to the new cooling system, the phone is also a powerful gaming device. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor doesn’t get as hot, so it doesn’t need to throttle as much as some other Android phones. In our battery life testing, the OnePlus 10 Pro went for nearly 12 hours in its adaptive 120Hz refresh rate mode. That easily beats the Galaxy S22 Ultra. And with 65W charging, you can nearly recharge the phone from empty to 100% in 30 minutes. You can be certain that this phone is one of the most affordable smartphones of 2023
OPPO FIND X5 PRO.

A next-generation heat-dissipation system, with a super-large vapor chamber nearly 75% larger and cutting-edge 3D graphene films, helps the phone stay cool even during intensive tasks. Capture cinematic panoramas and vintage-style photos that mimic the legendary XPan mode. Experience the golden age of photography embraced by the future. Spectacular photos on autopilot. AI Scene Enhancement 2.0 sets the perfect tonality for every scene.
MOTOROLA EDGE 30 ULTRA.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra 5G comes with a 6.67 inches P-OLED featuring a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels besides a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is also equipped with a pixel density of 395ppi and a refresh rate of 144Hz assuring a brilliant visual experience. Moreover, its bezel-less front display comes layered by Corning Gorilla Glass v5. Motorola Edge 30 Ultra 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and an Octa-core processor with a Cortex A510, Cortex X2 and Cortex A710 layout, capable of performing at a maximum speed of 3GHz. There is no way this amazing phone is missed among the best smartphones of 2023
The entire processor setup is also backed by 8GB of RAM. A 4610mAh Li-Polymer battery installed within assures prolonged usage and stable performance. The particular cell is non-replaceable besides being compatible with 125W Turbo Power Charging.
APPLE iPHONE 13 MINI.

The iPhone 13 mini display has rounded corners that follow a beautiful curved design, and these corners are within a standard rectangle. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screen is 5.42 inches diagonally (the actual viewable area is less).
The iPhone 13 mini is basically the same shape and size as the iPhone 12 mini. The slightly added thickness is barely noticeable considering the tiny size of the device, but the added battery life is definitely there. The included Apple A15 Bionic chip is powerful and still very much adequate for late 2022 / early 2023. In fact, it still outperforms most processors in top-tier Android phones. The base storage has been increased to 128 GB, which is a huge deal. The iPhone 13 mini is a solid camera phone that does well in both well-lit and nighttime scenarios. You don’t get the telephoto lens of the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, so no super zooming or fancy portraits (you can still do Portrait Mode with the wide-angle lens). But you still get to play with the (somewhat iffy) Cinematic Mode for video recording and the new Photographic Styles for photo post-processing, which completely change the camera’s color and contrast calibration.
GOOGLE PIXEL 6A.

It’s quickly apparent that when it comes to looks, the 6a is clearly a Pixel phone. The camera bump that runs along the entire width of the back to separate the two-tone color scheme returns, although it has been pared back slightly. With a 6.1-inch display, we won’t call the Pixel 6a a small phone, but it’s clearly much more compact than the Pixel 6 and Pro – closer in size to the iPhone 13. So if you found the Pixel 6 too big, this affordable alternative will feel much better, although you may still want to invest in a case to protect the rear panel, which seems a bit easier to scratch. One of the attractions of the Pixel phones has always been their ability to take excellent pictures with minimal effort – point, click and enjoy. In tests, we found this hasn’t changed on the Pixel 6a, despite the camera’s primary lens being downgraded from a 50 megapixel (MP) wide-angle to a 12.2 MP wide-angle – so that’s closer (at least on paper) to a Pixel 5. You also get a 12 MP ultra-wide on the rear module of the 6a, while your selfies are shot in a solid 8 MP.
The smartphone uses USB-C for charging and wired headphones but there’s no wall adapter in the box, and it’s a bit of a shame that there’s no wireless charging either.
SONY Xperia 1 IV.

Performance is exceptional, combining the latest Snapdragon® 8 Gen 1 Mobile Platform with a powerful, long-lasting 5,000mAh battery. The Xperia 1 IV delivers the best of Sony to every user and creator.
There are standout features for videographers and photographers, and major wins for mobile gamers, whether they’re e-Sports players or streamers.
Audiophiles benefit from decades of Sony sound and music expertise, along with the new Music Pro for studio-style song recording. And cinephiles will appreciate the brightest smartphone 4K HDR 120Hz display ever.
MOTOROLA G82.

At first glance, the Moto G82 has expected hardware for the asking price with a 6.6-inch 120Hz OLED panel, Snapdragon 695 SoC doing the heavy lifting, and 6GB/128GB memory configuration by default. There’s also a microSD card if storage isn’t enough. The battery is also in line with the 2022 standards -5,000 mAh supporting 30W of fast wired charging.
Interestingly enough, the 50MP main camera has OIS, which is a rare feature in this class. The company likes to include optical stabilization in its budget phones, which is commendable, but there is a bit of worry about the sensor size – 1/2.76″. That’s a tad smaller than what was expected. Still, specs aren’t everything, especially when it comes to photography. There have been a few hidden gems from Motorola in the past, so we might be pleasantly surprised by the G82.
SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FOLD 4.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 (stylized as Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 ) is a foldable smartphone that is part of the Samsung Galaxy Z series . It was announced at the August 2022 edition of Galaxy Unpacked. The Z Fold 4’s outer display and back panel use Gorilla Glass Victus+, whilst the foldable inner display is made of Samsung’s proprietary “Ultra-Thin Glass”, with two protective plastic layers covering it. The device’s included battery is a 4400 mAh dual-cell unit that fast charges via USB-C up to 25 W, or via wireless charging up to 15 W.
The Z Fold 4 features three rear cameras, including a 50 MP wide-angle camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10 MP telephoto camera. The wide camera shares its sensor with the S22 and S22+, replacing the previous 12 MP sensor, and the telephoto camera has been upgraded from 2x to 3x optical zoom. It has two front-facing cameras, with a 10 MP camera on the cover display and a 4 MP under-display camera on the right half of the inner display.
APPLE iPHONE XR.

The iPhone XR is an affordable, yet still very capable alternative to the iPhone XS. It features the same iPhone X- inspired design, along with gesture navigation and Face ID, and the same groundbreaking A12 Bionic system chip. The 6.1-inch screen, however, is an LCD one instead of OLED and has lower, but still Retina-level resolution. The camera on the back is just a single, 12MP unit, but it has a larger sensor and larger pixels for better image clarity. The iPhone XR will come in a variety of fresh new colors, including blue, yellow, coral, and red. This device is also known as Apple A1984, Apple A2105 PROS.
